Cadence
The rhythm layer of the Captain's Flywheel. Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly loops where work compounds and feedback closes.
Definition
Cadence (renamed from Cycle on 2026-05-06) is the rhythm. The required feedback loop that makes things better.
There are five cadences in the master clock:
- Daily — the build cycle. Ship something every day.
- Weekly — communication, content production, captain's review.
- Monthly — security audits, financial review, content retrospective.
- Quarterly — strategic review, OKR setting, kill-list.
- Yearly — themes, big bets, retrospective.
Skip the Cadence and your flywheel never spins. The compounding only happens because every rotation refines what came before.
