Captain's Flywheel
The operating model behind every MaxShip business. Three layers — Command, Compute, Cadence — spinning together as one motion.
Definition
The Captain's Flywheel (formerly 3C Flywheel) is MaxShip's operating model. Three layers in continuous motion:
- Command — the captain's organized thinking. Strategy, decisions, the shared brain between you and your AI.
- Compute — the engine. AI models, agents, MCPs, deployed services. The crew working under the captain's command.
- Cadence — the rhythm. Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly loops that compound.
Each rotation, your Command gets sharper (because you learned something), your Compute gets more useful (because you adjusted it based on real data), and your Cadence gets faster (because you've done it before). That's the compounding.
Most builders only operate two of these three. Skip the Cadence and the flywheel never spins.
